If Summer in the city is good, summer in the mountains is amazing! The range of activities and the level of adventure is up to you. White water rafting, overnight stays at mountain refuges, or relaxing on the beach on Lake Geneva; food shopping at the Sunday market in Annecy, designer shopping in Geneva or searching out gems at local Brocants; gourmet restaurants on Lac Leman, local delicacies in mountain restaurants with breathtaking views or a camp fire by the river; swim in local lakes fed from glacial melt, or the impressive indoor/outdoor pools in Morzine, or up at Aquariaz, the indoor water park at the top of a mountain; walk round the beautiful town of Morzine or the neighbouring village of Les Gets, hike on one of the awesome trails that crisscross the Alps, or set yourself the challenge of conquering one of the local peaks – how you spend your summer holiday in the French Alps is up to you.

Road Bike Weekends – Thursday/Friday to Sunday/Monday

For one long weekend every month we organise fully supported tours for you to try your luck at conquering the famous cols that surround Morzine. Your guide will lead you up a different col every day allowing you to track your progress on Strava (link).

Day 1: Col de Joux Plain (link)

Day 3: Col de Joux Verte (link)

We provide breakfast in the morning, and a secure garage for bikes overnight. Lunch can be taken from the chalet, or stop at one of the local bars or restaurants.

At the end of each day, you can come back to a hot tub and home-cooked meal, before hitting the town to see what live music is playing or retiring to your en-suite bedroom. The perfect way to relax before hitting the road again on day two!

If that wasn’t enough of a challenge, we keep a leaderboard of the times our guests have made, and the best times recorded for our selected sections of each of the three cols will receive a weekend of fully catered accommodation for two at the end of October, and an invitation to join us on an epic ride to Annecy.

Harley Davidson Weekend

Every second summer, Morzine plays host to one of the largest gatherings of Harley Davidson motorbikes in the world.

Being very easy to get to, just over an hour from Geneva, bikers from all over Europe flock to Morzine to experience this amazing festival.

With free live music from bands such as Status Quo (who played in 2013) and, rumoured for this year, Blondie, the town is engulfed with thousands of bikes.

We can provide a secure parking garage for your bikes, breakfast, a home cooked dinner, and hot tub.

Hiking - The Three Peak Challenge

With the Pointe de Nantaux, Ressachaux, and Nyon towering over the beautiful town of Morzine, we set our guests the challenge of conquering all three.

Whether you walk up a peak a day or, as some locals do, try hiking all three in under 10 hours, each peak offers a different experience.

The Stats

Nantaux: 2,170m

Ressachaux: 2,173m

Nyon: 2,019m

In total, you’ll be challenged to a 3,500m vertical gain over 25km, with breathtaking views from the peak of each one. Mont Blanc one way and Lake Geneva the other – it doesn’t get better than this!

If you are looking for more adventure after this, you can always stay longer and hike Rock d’Enfer, Mont Evian, or try a longer trek with an overnight at a secluded mountain refuge.

Start the day with breakfast provided, and at the end of each day you will return to a home cooked dinner, a relaxing hot tub and an en-suite bedroom. We can provide a delicious packed lunch.
